In January 2024, construction of the Wuhu “Pearl of the Wanjiang” floating terminal project—jointly undertaken by KAM and Zhongshan Jianglong Boat Technology Co., Ltd.—officially commenced. As the EPC general contractor, KAM is responsible for the vessel’s interior outfitting and audiovisual system installations.

The floating terminal adopts amonohull, all-steel structure with four above-deck superstructure levels(excluding the lower hold). With an overall length of 126 metersand a beam of 25 meters, the facility is designed to accommodate up to 900 passengers.

Tailored for the navigation conditions of the Wuhu section of the Yangtze River, the project is designed to meet Class-A navigation standards and functions as a multifunctional, high-standard floating complex. The exterior design incorporates Wuhu’s urban tourism characteristics, featuring large glass curtain walls that create a modern, transparent architectural appearance while providing expansive sightseeing views.

The interior spaces are designed with high-end finishes and premium amenities. Key functional areas include cruise vessel berthing facilities (with shore power supply), passenger waiting lounges, retail spaces, specialty dining venues, casual dining bars, business reception areas, experiential lodging facilities, and owner offices.
