Aida Floridian, a domestically built large cruise ship
The Aida Flower City is a Vista-class large cruise ship built by Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. of China State Shipbuilding Corporation, designated as H1509. It is the second domestically produced large cruise ship in China. Compared to the inaugural domestically built large cruise ship, the “Aida Magic City,” the “Aida Flower City” boasts a gross tonnage of approximately 142,000 tons, a total length of 341 meters, a beam of 37.2 meters, 2,130 guest cabins, and a maximum passenger capacity of 5,232. The “Aida Flower City” features an increase of 6,700 gross tons in tonnage and an additional 19 guest cabins.
KAM is responsible for the electrical engineering of sections JA1, JA4, JA10, JA13, and JA14 on the Aida Flower City, as well as the overall interior construction of the passenger central staircase and areas JA6 and JA7.
