Zhonghai Ke No. 1 National Submarine Cable Emergency Support Vessel
Zhonghai Ke No. 1 is a specialized vessel dedicated to submarine cable emergency response operations, primarily responsible for the emergency repair, routine maintenance, and technical support of submarine cable systems. The vessel provides essential support for the security and reliability of marine communication networks and offshore energy transmission infrastructure.
At the end of 2023, KAM participated in the vessel’s partial refurbishment project, undertaking the interior refurbishment works for several key onboard areas, including the reception conference room, offices, lounge, and bridge.
Drawing on extensive experience in ship interior engineering, KAM focused on optimizing spatial functionality and improving operational comfort. Through meticulous control of construction quality and renovation details, the project created a practical, efficient, and comfortable working and reception environment, enabling Zhonghai Ke No. 1 to further enhance its capabilities in submarine cable emergency response and maintenance operations.
