In July 2023, KAM commenced construction of China's first over-66-meter twin-hull river cruise ship, the “Yangtze River Romance.” Measuring 95.7 meters in length and 19.6 meters in beam, with a certified passenger capacity of 1,000, it stands as the longest twin-hull river passenger vessel currently operating on the Yangtze River, enhancing passengers' riverside sightseeing experience.

KAM participated in the ship's interior decoration, low-voltage intelligent systems, and central kitchen construction. For the first time, intelligent technology was applied to the vessel's interior, integrating smart lighting, security monitoring, and multimedia conferencing capabilities. This enables remote control and scene switching, enhancing living convenience and comfort.

The vessel employs modular assembly of oversized, ultra-thin stainless steel profiles combined with lightweight composite materials—ultra-thin stone panels integrated with aluminum honeycomb panels—and three-dimensional high-strength aluminum honeycomb composite panels to reduce hull weight and improve navigation efficiency. Customized designs can be tailored to client requirements. This project lays a solid foundation for KAM's expansion into the inland waterway market.
