The 93,000 m³ liquid ammonia carrier constructed by Hengli Shipbuilding is specifically designed for the transportation of liquefied gases such as liquid ammonia (minimum cargo temperature -52°C). The vessel strictly complies with the International Code for the Construction and Equipment of Ships Carrying Liquefied Gases in Bulk (IGC Code) and SOLAS safety regulations, ensuring safe and reliable operation in long-distance ocean transport.

As the EPC contractor for the vessel’s interior outfitting, KAM addressed critical requirements related to cryogenic environmental adaptation and explosion-proof safety. The interior compartments adopt dual-layer protective structures using composite rock wool panels and stainless steel liners, while window wells are equipped with thermal insulation layers and condensate drainage systems. In addition, dedicated gas engineer workstations were incorporated into relevant operational areas.

The accommodation design follows high-standard living specifications, utilizing fire-retardant textiles, low flame-spread flooring materials, and customized ceiling systems. The scope of work covers all accommodation and operational support spaces from then avigation deck to the engine room, ensuring comprehensive solutions for cryogenic protection, explosion-proof safety, and crew comfort. This integrated approach provides reliable interior systems to support the long-distance ocean transportation of liquefied gases.
