KAM has officially undertaken the interior outfitting project for a 15,600 DWT wind turbine heavy-lift carrier currently under construction at Zhenjiang Shipyard for a European shipowner. The vessel measures 130 meters in length overall, with a beam of 24 meters and a depth of 11 meters. It is equipped with a dual-fuel propulsion system and is designed for unrestricted global navigation.

KAM is responsible for theintegrated design and construction of all accommodation and functional spaces, covering key areas such as crew living quarters, equipment control centers, and cargo lashing operation rooms. Tailored to the operational requirements of heavy-lift vessels, the project adopts athree-zone functional design approach. Work areas are equipped with modular control consoles and acoustic noise-reduction materials to improve operational efficiency, while high-strength fire-resistant composite materials are used in machinery-related spaces to ensure safety under demanding working conditions.

Through the integration of industrial design concepts and functional layout optimization, the vessel’s interior systems provide asafe, efficient, and comfortable onboard environment, supporting the demanding operational requirements of heavy-lift offshore transport vessels.
