The 82,000 DWT bulk carrier is a large ocean-going cargo vessel constructed by Hengli Shipbuilding (Dalian) Co., Ltd., designed to meet the demands of international bulk cargo transportation.

As the EPC contractor for the interior outfitting of this vessel series, KAM is responsible for the design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and final delivery of the ship’s interior engineering works. The scope of work covers all major areas of the vessel, including the navigation deck and A, B, and C deck levels, and involves key tasks such as rock wool composite panel installation, fireproof insulation works, deck covering installation, cabin furniture fitting, fire-rated doors and window frame installation, and curtain and sunshade systems.

All functional spaces—including the captain’s cabin, wheelhouse, crew mess, conference room, sick bay, galley, and laundry room—were comprehensively fitted out. From material selection, such as E0-grade plywood and flame-retardant fabrics, to construction techniques, every aspect strictly complies with fire safety, acoustic insulation, corrosion resistance, and environmental protection standards. At the same time, the project ensures precise equipment installation and comfortable living conditions for crew members, enabling the bulk carrier series to efficiently support long-distance ocean-going bulk cargo transportation.
