AR1970 Sightseeing Electric-Powered Pleasure Boat
The AR1970 electric sightseeing boat is among the first new-energy electric sightseeing vessels developed and manufactured by Changzhou FRP Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. Designed specifically for scenic area tourism, the vessel measures 19.7 meters in length and 4.5 meters in beam, with a passenger capacity of 62. The vessel successfully completed sea trials on the Yangtze River near Changzhou in October 2022. A total of six vessels were delivered, and the fleet officially commenced operations at Kanas Lake Scenic Area in Xinjiang in May 2023.
KAM was deeply involved in the vessel’s construction, providing end-to-end services from preliminary interior design to final implementation. Tailored to the ecological environment and sightseeing requirements of Kanas Lake, the interior layout and visual design were optimized using eco-friendly and weather-resistant materials. The design also integrates the installation and operational requirements of theall-electric propulsion system, ensuring a balance between passenger comfort and vessel operational efficiency.
